What to Expect
All species are subject to availability of quota and hunting licenses provided by the government.
Flights are from Johannesburg South Africa into Tete, Mozambique and arrive in the afternoon where you will be met by your professional hunter. That night is commonly spent in Tete at a B&B or guest home on the Zambezi River where lunch, diner and breakfast are served.
The following day involves a 3 hour drive to an area that is 500,000 hectares. We will predominately hunt out of the main camp which is colonial in style. There are open air bathroom ensuite with nice beds and daily laundry service. Meals are prepared by our chef.
We start hunting early after breakfast heading out on small roads that can take several hours to travel. Supplies, water, other beverages, food, and snacks are on board for the long day. There may be times when it is necessary to set up a “fly camp” depending on our location and the success of the day’s stalk. All equipment is supplied and you only need your ammunition, rifle and clothes.
In the evenings after diner we look forward to sitting around the fire by the river where you will hear the hyenas, the elephants and the lions while having a drink and a telling the days stories.
As each experience on safari has it’s own unique qualities, it’s impossible to know how each day will unfold. We believe that what you put in is what you get out and we are excited share your experience with you in Mozambique.
